January 2018 is National Mentoring Month. Please join us as we celebrate mentoring and the positive effect is has on young lives. This month long campaign serves to raise awareness of mentoring, strives to recruit more individuals to become mentors and rallies organizations to engage their constituents in mentoring. While many young people benefit from mentoring relationships, 1 in 3 children will grow up without a mentor, a gap that is far too wide. Please use the month to share your own mentoring experiences throughout our community so we can close this mentoring gap and provide powerful, human connections for young people everywhere. Here are a few suggestions for you. Save the dates!
